After many jokes and a few threats, I am updating my blog. Perhaps what caused the slow down in the blogging was the original reason for the beginning of my blogging. The very end of Thanksgiving we found out I was pregnant. We were so excited!

By the next week, I was finishing my finals and then I had to start cleaning because the following week my brother-in-law graduated. We had a house full of family. It was the best time to tell Rufus' family our great news.

My father came to have Christmas with us. I told him that Christmas with us was a little different than my siblings because the youngest person at our Christmas was Ben and that he had figured it out a few years ago that Santa didn't exist. Well as usual we had our Christmas Eve party for friends and family. We had a pretty good turn out and told everyone else that we were pregnant at the party. My dad is always very festive, so he dressed up as Santa and delivered presents to all the big girls and boys at our party. This picture is Rufus and my dad. "Santa" let us each sit on his lap.
