I will try to stay a little more current with my postings after this one. Mandy has threatened to remove me from her blogs list if I don't.We held a baby shower at our house. It was for our little bundle of joy and one of the other guys that Rufus works with. Their little girl is due one week before our little boy. It was lots of fun. We must have had 25 to 30 people at our house. My friend Denise, the wife of one of the other guys Rufus works with was the ring leader for the shower. She with two other women did an excellent job. Denise also made a cake that was really tasty (white chocolate and rasberry creme) and very cute it was a pregnant lady with an outie belly button. You can see it in this picture. She also made diaper cakes for each of us.
I was supposed to go see my mom the next weekend for a shower in Virginia, but my blood pressure spiked and the doctors' freaked out. They told us it wouldn't be a good idea to go. So we didn't. The doctor told me that if I stayed off my feet they wouldn't have to put me on bed rest. So here I sit on the couch with not much to do. I will keep all the readers up to date on baby news.
