March was much more exciting. We had our sonogram to find out if our little baby was a boy or a girl. We had much debate in the family as to what kind of baby we were having, but after all it turned out that we are having a baby boy! When we went for the sonogram, the baby acted just like his daddy. The woman with the sonogram was pushing around on the belly and he just kept sleeping and didn't move a bit. They also told us that based on his size they would have estimated his due date at July 23rd, but since I had an earlier sonogram (and they are more accurate) that they would leave my due date at August 5. What does this mean to Rufus and me? We are having a big baby. Here is his picture.

Of course, this is the 7th straight grandson for my parents but this is the first grandchild for Rufus' family. He had a blast calling his family. In fact, he pulled a little trick on his brother.

Rufus: Ben, what do you know about dance recitals and baby dolls?

Ben: Nothing, but I can learn.

Rufus: Screw that we are having a little boy.

We all decided that Uncle Ben has a little fishing buddy.
