Horse Races

Well, I was going to try and post once a month, but I seem to have missed that by a couple weeks. Last month we went to visit Rufus' parents. We decided to go to the horse track and bet the ponies while we were there. Rufus had never been before and I had only seen horse races where the jockey was in a cart behind the horse. Here is Rufus, Connie and Big Rufus reading the programs and picking horses. Connie was ready to put some money down and with good reason she was having a lucky streak that day, she came out of the day a whole $4 up. Shhhh! Don't tell the IRS. My Rufus ended up $3 ahead. I was down way too much. So what do you do when your down. Hit the slot machines...


I have very few pictures of me that I like, but here is one of Rufus and me. The sun was very deceiving that day. It was windy and every time the wind stopped it got real hot.

We didn't have any trick or treaters for Halloween. Our street is kind of off the beaten path. It's a shame cause I love Halloween and dressing up.

Good news I only have four more weeks of school. This time next month I will be done with finals and 3/4 done with the MBA program. Whose crazy idea was it to go back to school anyway. I barely went when I was in undergrad.
