The Rest of November

Hodge podge of the rest of November. Sorry no posts for a long time, but the holidays, pregnancy and a 2 year old is really taking its toll on my lately. Hoping but not really expecting it to be any better when the next baby comes. Just be patient with me.

So I have posted pictures of Rufus climbing on his dresser only about 2.5 ft off the floor and I have seen him a couple of times on the monitor walking on it but here is 100% proof that he is walking around on it. These are the letters of his name that are on the wall directly above said dresser. While one can see that the U's are definitely upside down, the S is also upside down and the F has been removed and placed back as well.

My child loves brushing his teeth, but we had to make a rule that he couldn't leave the bathroom with the toothbrush or he would never take it out of his mouth. I guess this day he got tired of standing.

It's getting closer to baby time and there is a lot of prep work to be done on the nursery. Lil Rufus decided he wanted to help his Daddy. Here Big Rufus is puttying the wall and Lil Rufus is discovering the sander.

Discover complete! He saw Daddy use it and decided to help some more. I had to stop him before he hit the hardwood floors and then again after we were done painting. Sorry, but I have seem to have forgotten to take the after photos. It was a long weekend and we still have some more work on the new little boy's room.

And what helps men relax after a long day's work? A little golf! Lil Rufus got his club last year for Christmas. Glad to see he is getting some use out of it.

The Friday after Thanksgiving Babcia, the Fullers and us all went to the Japanese steak house. We all had a pretty good time and Lil Rufus actually ended up using the training chop sticks to eat a couple pieces of food. As usual, he decided utensils just slow him down so he promptly moved back to using his hands.
