December Part 2
We had to do some work on the shelves in the baby's room. Here is Little Rufus helping Daddy find the studs to put the screws in. He is just a little off.
Well before we knew it, it was Christmas Eve. Here is Little Rufus posing with his new pajamas in front of the Christmas tree. Just wait until he sees what Santa will bring him.
Santa brought Little Rufus a new train set. He was still kind of sleepy at first but has snuck out of bed multiple times since to play with the train when he was supposed to be sleeping. Santa did a good job of picking out a present for him.
Here I am big pregnant. Only 2 months to go or maybe less if the baby is real big. Fingers crossed, we go back in on Thursday for more measurements. Little Rufus got the Word Builder from Leap Frog since he knows his letters. Now we will have to start on spelling and reading. (yeah right!) He also got the IXL and loves it. He snuck out of nap to get the IXL to play with too. (IXL is like Nintendo DS for toddlers)
The day after Christmas it snowed a lot. We went to Granny and Pops house to play. Here Layla is hiding under the porch to stay out of the snow, at first. But then she found her inner puppy and was pouncing all over the yard.
Daddy shows Little Rufus how to make and throw a snow ball.
Little Rufus shows Daddy how to trudge through a mud puddle and the whole time Daddy is yelling "don't walk in the mud puddle!" It was very funny.
Little Rufus starts to make his own snow balls and then throw them into the mud puddle.
We actually had real good snow. This is the first time since we moved here that we were able to make a snow man. Here is Little Rufus, Daddy, and Granny posing with their work of art.
