December Part 1

Well the beginning of December we headed North to visit Rufus' family. We stopped at a rest area and I went in the handicapped stall (because I'm so big and I have to share with him) and they had the cutest mini me toilet. Check this thing out! I put him on the potty to see if he would use it but I wasn't allowed to post those pics.

Once we got home we had to play with our new toys. Here is our new firetruck from Mawmaw Brown.

And our new Thomas Beginner Set from Lisa, George, and Allison.

We got to spend some time decorating (and undecorating) the Christmas tree.


We also went to the new local lights display where they have a little carnival at the end. Luckily for us, all the toddler rides were inside. Here are my two boys cheesing it up while waiting in line for the Carousel.

Lil Rufus got to ride the Tea Cups with Big Rufus.

He also got to ride the Dumbo elephants that fly up and down and around in a circle. This was his first solo ride. Didn't get a picture but did get a video, it was very grainy and I still can't get videos to work on blogger.

And last but not least (in fact his absolute favorite) was Frog Hopper. This ride pulls them all the way up, about 2 stories, and then slowly drops them a little bit at a time. Daddy was a little worried because technically he was a little too short for the ride but once they put the baby with a pacifier on the ride, he decided to let his little boy ride. Lil Rufus was the talk of the area. While waiting in line he started jumping with the ride clapping and giggling. He wanted to go on it so bad. Once he got on he laughed and squealed and absolutely loved it. He loved it so much the ride worker let him ride it again for free just to watch him react. She also said that he is going to be my little dare devil. Well at least I know I will have someone to ride roller coasters with me in the future.
