Halloween Weekend

Halloween weekend was full of excitement.

Lil Rufus found my witch's hat and wore it while playing with his toys one morning.

The Saturday before Halloween Daddy pulled the mustang out to do some major blasting and somebody found their way into the car. It wasn't hard, after Daddy has removed the doors.

Halloween morning we carved the jack o'lantern. I know that is a little late to be carving the pumpkin but I'm pregnant and tired. Well at least you all know that it is not just the blog that I'm letting fall behind.

After Rufus helped Daddy get the guts out of the pumpkin we decided that the carving was too advanced for him. Maybe next year! He he he. So we let Rufus finger paint his own pumpkin while we worked on ours.

Lil Rufus had a pretty good time but it wasn't enough to distract him through all the carving.

We decided not to carve a Virginia Tech pumpkin this year. I know it's a first in a long time. Here is Rufus holding the pattern in his hands while Daddy tried out a new tool.

Here is the train conductor and the pregnant witch. Not many costumes for pregnant ladies.

Here is our final Jack O'Lantern. Can you guess what it is? That's right, Elmo!

Lil Rufus has gotten where he likes to put on Mommy and Daddy's socks and shoes. They are much easier to put on then his. He is about 90% on his own shoes and about 20% on his own socks.

Miss Paula from across the street still felt cheated that she didn't get to buy Rufus a birthday present, so she bought him a Halloween present. It is a cordless drill, just like Daddy's. It is so cute, it even had reverse so you can put a screw in and then screw it out.

He is really getting good at it and has only had it a day.
