Play Place

After much abuse from my mother, I am trying to get caught up on my blogging. It has been a very hectic couple of weeks. I am still trying to work a lot during naps and trying to train for a 10k (6.2 miles of running)in July. Plus we had the holiday, with company, and our anniversary mixed in, not to mention the issues with my laptop which really slows me down. Maybe the hubby will fix it soon.

Well about 2 weeks ago we went to a very cool indoor play place in NC called Exploration Station. It is lots of fun for the kids to run around like crazy. They have a bunch of different rooms all designed for kids to play make believe. A house with a kitchen and laundry room, a grocery store, a garage, a fire station, a school house, a hospital, and a computer lab. Rufus had a blast. Here are a few shots of the him not on the move. I do have more but they were too blurry with him on the move!

I thought Aunt Becky would appreciate this one. He is getting ready for the farm life. The "Station" had a cow that you could "milk" it was only water though. He couldn't quite work it but he was definitely giving it a good try.

Believe it or not, Rufus ran into the fire station all by himself and grabbed up this hat and put it on with no help. He would make a cute firefighter!

All the kids in the entire building loved this waterfall. This was early but by the end of our trip there were kids in every opening spot playing in the water.

Why not ride a pig? There were a couple of what appeared to be carousel animals with saddles on for the kids to ride. He almost got up on his own but got down real fast.
