Building with Daddy

I'm sure everyone has heard that Lowe's does the kids' workshops on Saturdays. We just happened to walk into the section that they were doing the workshop and we got snagged. I think Rufus is too little to really understand but Daddy definitely had a good time.

We got settled in, got out all the parts, signed paper work and did NOT read the directions! Daddy only messed up twice on the picture frame with 10 nails to hammer and that was it.

We got all of our safety gear on, bib, nametag, safety glasses (which Lowe's lets you keep). The safety glasses didn't stay on long, just like Daddy's when he is working in the shop.

Then we got to the good stuff! Hammering! Rufus had to have a little assistance, but if it had been a power drill, he probably could have done it himself.
