Trying

I'm trying to still take pictures as much as possible. However, one of the ladies at work is out on maternity leave and I have been picking up a few extra hours. So I apologize (Mom) for it being a couple of weeks since my last post.

Little Rufus has been practicing brushing his teeth on his own. We brush and then let him have the brush. He loves it. I had to take four pictures to get this one. I guess he has realized that he squints when he smiles real big, so when I went to take a picture he kept closing his eyes on purpose.

We went to a carnival this weekend. He was about 4 inches too short to ride alot of things and I don't think he is quite aggressive enough yet to hold his own with the older kids. We did get to ride a couple of things like the train in the parking lot.

We also got to play in the bouncy house. He loved it and hated being pulled out of it. He would always start out by sitting like the picture below. Then he would get up and start running around and falling down.




Here is Layla looking pathetic which is the standard these days. Layla has put on almost 4 lbs in the last six months, so she is now on a doggy diet.

Rufus has gotten into the habit of trying to talk into anything. Here is a video and a still picture of him talking on a disconnected phone. He also grabs Big Rufus' cell phone every time it vibrates and tries to answer it.
