Working Hard

Yep that's why I haven't posted in a while. Joined the gym over Thanksgiving. I couldn't got he first week because Rufus was out of town and I didn't want to. Started on Monday and have gone every day this week. May even go on Sunday. I have a work out buddy so it makes it a little more bearable.

Well even though I haven't posted that doesn't mean I haven't been taking lots of fun pictures and videos of the boy.

He is always in motion so the pictures can be a little out of focus. It was cold here for a couple of days and then it got real warm. This day was a high of 54 but the boy couldn't sit inside anymore. He wanted to play. Oh yeah he hates gloves. He can't pick anything up. If they can put rubber gripping on socks so kids don't fall down, how come they can't do the same with gloves. Oh yeah and the next day was a high of 74. Can you believe it!


I thought this was too cute, Rufus has been doing this for the past week. I have seen tons of pictures of me as a baby doing the same thing with my tongue. You almost can't see it but his tongue is laying slightly between his lower teeth and lip. He may be teething still. We cut 3 molars and 2 other teeth last month. But we were due to catch up.

For anyone who has ever seen the cartoon Rugrats...here is my Tommy Pickles with his screwdriver. For those that are kid free. Tommy Pickles is a baby and he carries a screwdriver in his diaper so he can bust his gang of babies out of their play pen to explore the world. Rufus and I used to joke that if we had a boy, he would be just like Tommy Pickles. Well here he is. He sometimes will get a hold of our keys and he runs to the back door to unlock it with one of the keys pulled out. If only he was taller and the locked was keyed on the inside he might be able to unlock it.


Thank God for cheap Walmart plastic globe ornaments. This has been my tree's salvation. We have a couple of plastic ornaments that Lil Rufus can look at and touch but this is his favorite by far. You can just barely see it bounce around and if you turn your volume up, you can even hear it.



Well the boy is always rearranging. That is for certain. This morning he crawled into the drawer with his books and I couldn't help but record him. He is always cute when he doesn't have on any pants!
