We are working on using a plate instead of just the highchair. Here we are on one of the first tries. He did good this time because it was broccoli and hamburgers and he loves them. The next day, he didn't do as well.
I couldn't resist video taping this. I know I am a rotten mother, but way too funny to pass up. Here is Rufus trying to pull tupperware out of my drawer in the kitchen. We heard him screaming and came running only to find he was stuck and couldn't figure out how to get free. Don't judge me...you are laughing too. Here is a video of Rufus on his swing. He loves the swing. If you let him loose with full run of the front and back yard, he runs for the swing and even cleans the leaves out of the seat. Make sure your volume is on, he was talking up a storm this day.
Babcia came in for Thanksgiving and brought a couple toys for the boy. He was sooo cute with the ball popper. He loves it and plays it all the time. It is not so much my favorite toy because it is loud, no volume control and the balls end up all over the place. Thanks MOM! Speaking of Thanksgiving...you would never believe the amount of food this kid put away at Thanksgiving dinner. I swear he ate almost his entire weight in food. We ate a Cracker Barrel. He ate 2.5 biscuits, 3 pieces of grilled chicken, a serving of green beans, a few fried okra, a little ham, a little meatloaf, and probably about half my piece of pie (and they don't hand out small pieces of pie either). I think next year we will have to give him 2 kids meals).
So I know you are not supposed to eat in front of the TV but that doesn't count when Hokie Football is on right and especially not during the VT/UVA game. We didn't exactly eat in front of the TV but you can see it from our kitchen table. We showed Rufus how to dip his chicken nuggets. It only took watching it 1 time to understand what to do. Big Rufus says that it is genetic because he does a lot of food dipping.
