No Time

Well I have found that I still get lots of cute pictures and videos of the little man, I just have no time to get on the computer and post them. There are many reasons, only the one nap a day, stuff coming up with work to do during the nap, my book club (naps are best for quiet reading time), new tv shows, oh and Christmas shopping. Maybe my New Year's Resolution will be to get better at posting again.

This evening Rufus was exploring the truck. Here he is pointing at the license plate. He was playing with the trailer hitch.

Here he is playing with the tire and telling us the proper way to change it...make sure your volume is on!

Earlier today we had a snack to hold us over until Daddy got home from Nebraska for lunch.

We also did some laundry. He loves crawling into anything he can. He crawled into the hamper, so I covered him with laundry.

I went to visit the ladies at work on Thursday. He loves this little corner. He can crawl in to his own little fort and sit on top of or in between the boxes.

On Sunday, we visited with Aunt Sarah and Uncle Ben. Lil Rufus got dinner all over his clothes because I forgot to bring a bib. We had to let him run around naked. Here he is playing with Gabbie's (their cat) toy.

We tried to document him in his natural state. But he hides his horns well.

Rufus has started experimenting with putting things away. YES! AWESOME! It's only about 1% that gets put away but when it does its great. Last weekend I was doing some laundry and had the piles spread out on my bedroom floor. Little man came in and started picking the laundry off the floor and putting it in the hamper. He put about 3 pieces of his clothes and this is the second pair of his daddy's pants.

Here Rufus is putting his sippy cup back in the refrigerator.

I cleaned up a lot of toys from downstairs now that Rufus is walking. Sometimes he likes to explore. He has figured out that he can go into his future sibling's room across from his, climb up on a trunk and onto the bed. He then likes to try and get stuck. I think he has learned how to not get stuck and I have taught him how to get back off the bed. Of course the first few days of this were not fun.

The weather has been nasty this last week. It was cool and cloudy but not rainy so we spent some time outside. Here is what Rufus likes to do outside now. Isn't he the cutest.
