Party Like a Rock Star!

I always try to do good with taking pictures, but I usually forget to take a few that I really want. Travis and Leigh stopped to see us last weekend. They were home from Ireland for two weeks and of course I didn't get a picture of Rufus with them for documentation. Oh well. In true Big Rufus and Teresa style we got them to go to Cracker Barrell for breakfast the next morning before they left. I like to call this picture:

Yes, this is my child asleep sitting up in the middle of Cracker Barrell and anyone that has had breakfast at that place on a weekend knows it is as loud as a concert. Well Rufus normally doesn't like to sleep anywhere but his crib without at least a 30 minute argument but this time he just drifted into peaceful sleep while we were waiting for our food. It made eating difficult but Daddy handled it okay.

The following video I took as Little Rufus was exploring our bedroom. For those of you that don't know Layla, our dog, is the sweetest little poodle ever when we are home, but if we leave her when we go out I swear she could literally eat her way out of the house to get to us. Rage or loyalty, I'm not sure but when we moved to this house 4 years ago, we started crating her while we are gone. It seems that we just keep accumulating stuff and now her crate is in our room. Well Little Rufus loves to open and close anything that will let him, hence this video. He really had it going good before I started recording and well he hit his head on the cage so couldn't keep recording to get a better shot.
