Granny came down to keep Lil Rufus while Big Rufus and I went to a wedding in Pittsburgh, but before we left Granny and I took Lil Rufus to the County Fair. We had a good time but dang is the fair expensive. Luckily he isn't to an age where he can whine and beg and plead to play games and ride rides. We did put him on one ride and it was $3 for him to ride, not to bad for one ride. But guess what he couldn't ride alone and they charged me for Granny to ride! Can you believe that like if she had walked around the fair by herself she would have been like "Oooh I really want to ride that! Maybe I can borrow someone's kid so I can ride for free."
We also went through the petting zoo. Rufus loved it and again no fear he tried to feed or pet everything in the tent.
Of course what trip to the fair would be complete with out playing a game. Rufus got to pick a boat (any boat) out of the water. As long as you could pick up a boat, you won. My kind of game. We helped him a little on picking out his prize, but he loved it just the same.
