Book Club

So me and my gal pals loaded up and drove to BooksAMillion to meet Pat Conroy. One of the Ladies picked his latest novel "South of Broad" for our book club this month. For those who think they have never heard of him (I was one), he was the writer of "The Prince of Tides" which of course became a movie. Here is his website if you are interested in learning more http://www.patconroy.com. So we were told there would be no personalization just signing. When we got there they said he would personalize as many books as you want and take pictures. We of course had not bothered to bring cameras since it seemed like he wouldn't have time, so I had to use my cell phone camera. I little bit grainy of a pic but oh well. And what does Teresa talk about with a well known author, Hokie Football. Pat Conroy is a Citadel grad and Beamer used to coach there. HA! Enjoy.
