Daddy, Uncle Ben, Lil Rufus swimming. Chloe and Layla hanging out on the deck.
Opening birthday cards with Daddy.
BABY RUFUS
Baby Boy with eyes of brown,
Livens things up when he's around.
So much to see, so much to do,
Check out the old, explore the new.
Lay on the doggie's bed to rest,
Not as soft as mine, it's the best.
Saw Layla's tongue the water lap,
I wanted to try, so gave it a pat.
Water splashed on the floor,
I used both hands to make more.
Crawled over to open a cabinet door,
Found lots of goodies, just like a store.
Pulled them out and let them lay,
While I went on to other play.
I try to do all I can,
So they'll call me "Little Man".
That laundry basket was a trap,
My Mommy said "time for a nap"
As in my bed I quietly lay,
I knew this had been a perfect day.
I'll dream of things I've yet to do,
When I wake up as good as new.
I often wonder about my name,
Grand Dad and Daddy have the same.
So why did the do this to me,
After my name put a three?
Because I'm almost the perfect son,
Everybody knows I'm NUMBER ONE.
