What A Weekend!

Well Mandy can you believe it I have posted twice in a month.

Our weekend started early this week. Rufus's parents and friend Habib (if I misspelled that I apologize) drove in on Wednesday. Friday morning we started with Sarah's bridal luncheon, followed by the rehearsal and then rehearsal dinner. The baby did great only getting a little cranky for the dinner, but I was cranky too. The rehearsal dinner was from approximately 7:00 to 9:00. The place only had one grill and there were about 50 of us. The entire brides side was done eating before the grooms side was even served. It was a late night and we got home around 10.

The rehearsal was mucho weird too. I guess it is bad luck for the bride to rehearse the wedding (Oops! guess Rufus and I are screwed.) So I filled in for Sarah. Want to talk about ultimate weirdness try walking down the aisle with your husband's brother with your husband still alive and watching. We got through it all okay. Hit the bed Friday night after giving my mom a hello and good night hug all in one (she drove in while we were at rehearsal.)

Saturday morning we got ready drove to Cheraw. Rufus changed and we headed to the church made a bottle and got little man into his tuxedo onesie. I didn't think to get any daddy and son pics but the professionals did. Baby Rufus did great; slept through almost all pictures and the wedding. After the wedding we hit the reception and we were home by 8 or so. I don't even remember. Above is a picture of Baby Rufus with his great grandmother (Rufus's mom's mom.) and this is a picture of me and Sarah. I am Sarah's first official sister, as she is an only child.

After all this excitement we scheduled our 3 month and Christmas portraits for Sunday. After a weekend like this the little man was the only one up for pictures. We got a little crazy with buying pictures but we did want the CD with the rights to reproduce. Here are my favorite 3 month and Christmas pictures. They were all good, but I can't post them all.
